Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Now that the heat is on non-stop, even though we are "freezing our buns off", everyone is showing signs of dry skin and dehydration. I am shopping for a humidifier and was hoping for some recommendations. Anyone?

Thanks!

We like the cheap warm mist ones. I really like the med cup that they have. When someone has a cold I put in eucalyptus essential oil. They don't seem to get funky like the cool mist ones do.

I prefer a vaporizer. Cheap (10-15 bucks) & much more "steam".

The cheapest way is just to set a pan of water in front of or on the heat ducts ... unless you are my sis who has them in the ceiling Cool mist is better especially if needed for croup. Annie

The problem we always had with cool mist is that the floor in front of it would be wet, but the air would still be really dry. Plus, they would get icky within a day or two. Dh spent all his time cleaning them.
