To better explain...our church participates in a charitable cause, where we choose a child, whose parent is in prison,to buy a Christmas gift for. The name of the child, age, and specific gift request is provided.
I picked a 16 yr old boy,who wants a choker or necklace. Honestly, the other choices were kids who wanted gift cards to buy music, and I sure didn't want to go there!
But a choker or necklace? I am clueless! The only ones I've seen, have crosses or crucifixes on them.
Any ideas? Places to look? I think it's a safe bet to say, that Claires is out! I want something special,as I can only imagine this boy's life.
Thankyou,

You can try places like Aeropostale, American Eagle, Hollisters etc. They're usually near the registers. I know this b/c a few years ago, dh used to wear this stuff. Thank the Lord he's stopped.

Hollister is THE teen store around here. All the teens have Hollister written across their chests. You might even want to do a gift card to there or the other stores mentioned. I wouldn't even try to get my 17yr son something like that even though I *think* I know what his style is.
BTW, I will ask my son for a recommendation if he ever gets out of bed!

Our college age friend wears something that looks like a dog collar - black, with plain silver studs all the way around - or else he wears something that looks like black plastic barbed wire. He buys them at Hot Topic, a mall chain.

Thanks,Ladies!
That helps a lot,and confirms my suspicions, that I am headed for the mall!
Molly,I won't shop for a couple of weeks,so if your ds has something to add, I would greatly appreciate it!
Thanks, again!
