Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

What started as a bit of a joke, has ended in a new favorite communication tool. I was looking for a way to get my teenagers' attention in a way that our printed calendar and to-do list didn't. I thought to myself, "Too bad they didn't look at these forms as often as they look at the mirror!"...which lead me to grab a dry erase marker and write their top 3 to do items on their mirror. Now, my one teen uses it herself as well .

Love,

sometimes, when the work hours get really weird, that is how DH and I communicate...I leave him notes on his mirror:) I also wrote some prayers that I want the kids to learn on their mirror. But I use window markers because I didn't even think about dry erase ones working....thanks for the tip!

thanks for your tip...I'm craft-impaired so I'm guessing that window markers are something crafty? Am I close?

What's funny is that I also tape up prayers and other inspiriational things on the edges of mirrors. I've also done post-its from time to time to communicate with dh but, duh, I never thought of putting marker to mirror!

Love,

Cool beans, Angie! Thanks for the tip!

We had window markers from Crayola...specifically said on the package "window markers". There are also window crayons we've used. But this idea is so great!
