Could you say a prayer that it stays minor? She's 9 weeks old. It may be a simple cold, although I was surprised that even my husband had a fever when he hardly ever registers such symptoms; she's the last one to develop any signs of illness, and they're minor (husband's out getting a new glass thermometer, so not sure about fever, but she certainly doesn't feel like she's burning up.) But her symptoms have just begun recently so I don't know how they will develop. Her nose is congested but she's still smiling and nursing well.

Thanks! I think she's still "sick" but temp was never above 100.1 last night and so far tonight is normal. (Mine is also lower tonight and never read more than 100.4.) Her nose isn't runny anymore at least for now and seems like she might be sleeping it off. Tomorrow's her planned well-baby visit, I'll have to call and ask if her being sick or so recently sick makes a difference, but the way she seems right now I'm thinking maybe we can kill 2 birds w/one stone and have the 2-month checkup plus take care of any remaining concerns about the illness.

Thanks -- she had her combo sick/well visit today after all. Still normal temperature, didn't seem to be as congested as she sounded to me late last night. So no serious concern. She even smiled at the doctor while she was lying on the exam table
