Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a 7yo daughter who loves to sit and draw, color cut, etc. She's very active, yet can sit and do a craft or look at books for long periods of time. I'm not crafty nor do I have skills to pass onto her for sewing, knitting, etc. Does anyone have suggestions on something new for her? I bought her Klutz for making pot holders and she loved it. I don't want her to miss anything because I don't know how to do it. Felt is something I thought of, but where do I begin?

Any crafty suggestions.....

Jennifer -- head to the public library with 7yod in tow and check the books in the 746s (check both the kids' part and the adult books) ... have her pick what she'd like to try out and then do searches on-line to find other resources ...

You really do want her to be the driving force behind the types of projects/types of crafts that you can learn together.....
