Here I am ...still gestating... would you believe that now that I have reached 40 weeks I couldn't tell people today how pregnant I am? I stopped counting 2 weeks ago...I am making all of the elderly people at Mass nervous and I really don't fit into the pew...LOL...but I am praying for ALL of you!!
I saw the midwife yesterday...I am 1cm dilated and getting huge. He is all folded up in there and pushing on my ribs and there is a LOT of fluid around him so I feel more like a heavy bowling ball is in there....one that threatens to make me grow taller from within...kinda like a built-in rack system of growth enhancement...I'll catch up to my tall dh yet! At least I still feel pretty good otherwise. When I get good nights of sleep I actually wake up forgetting that I am pregnant..that is, until I try and move...LOL! At least I can still leap up into the super-van. ...Just don't watch, OK?
The no wheat and very very little grain diet has been a God-send!!! When I stay away from those things I barely swell. I really hate when I do swell because I feel so much like a weeble-target that can't get out of her own way. The serious 5 mi (or more) walks are wonderful too....even on a bad day I can move my feet forward even when the rest of my body would rather be elsewhere...by the end of the walk, it ends up giving me more mobility and endurance for EVERYTHING...including my children's antics....
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to all of you grand multi whatevers out there...(can't keep all of those designations straight).
Please keep me in your prayers that I can safely deliver this little monkey and he stays at some manageable size. As of last week the ultrasound read 8.5 lbs. Most of my babies were between 9 and 10-3. Since I am still walking at least 5 miles every night, you would think he would fall out by now. I am just hoping and praying that they aren't forced to induce me. that would be bad.
since this is my very first VBAC I am traveling an hour and 10 minutes over the border(PA) to the hospital. Part of the ride is under construction and bounces the van up and down badly...now that is a comfortable picture....maybe I will deliver on the way... I just hope I have an easy labor. I CAN dream....
Pray for me! :o)
I am praying for everyone!
God Love You!!

Praying, Donna Marie, that you make that one last leap up into the super van, pass a short time in an easy labor, and get to hold that sweet, precious monkey really soon!
Peace,
Nancy

Oh, Donna Marie, we can't wait to meet your little guy. Please post pictures, okay? And you can count on our daily prayers for a smooth and easy labor, but more importantly, a very healthy and happy baby and momma!

You're doing great! I'm not even to twelve weeks yet, and I want to complain all the time!
May you have a safe delivery and healthy baby soon!

I was just thinking and praying for you, for your other intention and wondering if that baby had come yet. I'll up the prayers now that it's so close!
