I have just finished with the children one of the excellent Catholic activity books on Sacramentals and it was extremely informative..it mentioned the green scapular, stating this:
"On one side of the cloth was an image of Mary. She was holding her Immaculate Heart in her hands and flames were floweing out of the top of her heart. On the other side was a close-up image of her heart, pierced with a sword, and glowing with light brighter than the sun. Around it was the prayer"Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of death." The Blessed Virgin said that praying to her under this title and image would be especially successful for conversion and cures for physical or mental illnesses."
I was thinking about my health problems as I was reading...and thinking, "I would like to wear one and say the prayer." I had previously connected the Green Scapular to conversions only.
This morning we received a big parcel in the post from the States. In it was the whole series of the Catholic activities books I had ordered recently,(like the one I mentioned above) we were very excited and among the books were some pamphlets..and two green scapulars, I could almost cry!

I am not at all surprised. I think anyone who shows such love for St. Ann and Our Lady would certainly get a green scapular when needed.
Thought of you today in the store while seeing the most beautiful statue of St. Ann.
God bless you.

I'll also add that Anne did a similar thing for me. She knew I had inquired about green scapulars, and she sent me one! Such a blessing!

That's just beautiful, Anne. Thank you for sharing. I'm preparing for a talk on Mary on Sunday and was just reading up on scapulars -- I'm only really familiar with the brown one though I've seen the others in catalogs. So much still to learn! And Mama Mary's being so patient with me. I feel hugged too, esp. after seeing this post.
