Hi Ladies...
The phone has been ringing lots this morning. One job would start tomorrow. 
Considering where we are financially, that would be a good thing.
Can I request that we pester heaven? I'm trying to annoy HIM so that He'll say, "Enough already!" 
I know that we're blessed in so many ways and that in the scheme of things this is probably the easiest of "major" crosses to bear...but we'd just like to get those bills taken care of.

Thank you for your prayers....SO MUCH!
Angie, the pro-life dinner was so nice. I have to selfishly say that it was nice just to have someone else cook! I also enjoyed being out with my husband and at our table there were 4 other couples - all of whom homeschool - and we all know each other but no one knew we were all going to be there...so we just had fun, chatting, laughing...enjoying each other's company. I thought that this is a foretaste of heaven.
I can fill you in later. My husband needs my help on something.

Steve was pulling on a wood dowel from one of our bunk beds and he split his lip open... 
Just in time for his interviews.
He's got ice on it right now and in a little while, we'll leave to vote.
Can you guys just ask that this be healed in time for tomorrow.
This is funny. Really, it is...  Heavy sarcasm...

At least he'll have an "icebreaker" story...no, really, I'll pray hard! I've been praying for you all day and will offer up all of my (inevitable!) sinus headaches for you tomorrow, as well as more prayers.
We vote in California (absentee); I just got off the phone with my parents, who were going on and on about teacher problems...how thankful I am that this is a "voting" issue and not a "personal" issue!!! It's no less important that teachers be effective, of course, but at least I don't have to worry about notes coming home at night...or unsuitable literature...!!!
Hang in there...I'm so glad there are so many positive things happening for you and your family!!!

About the election, we're watching the returns like crazy. I'm a junkie  - all the ballots aren't counted but we have a propostion - #73 on the ballot, that would require parents to be notified of their minor daughter's abortion. Right now is losing by about 100K....but that's only with 53% of precincts reporting....
Didn't Catholicity have a joke awhile ago about those homeschooling parent/teacher conferences? I'm going to go talk to myself while I drink a cup of tea.
