We have been using Rod and Staff for 4th grade since the beginning of this year. DD dreads doing math everyday but she says that she likes the program. I am not sure I like it as there seems to be a lot of repetition in the daily lessons. My dd knows how to complete the concepts and get the answers but she does not necessarily do it quickly. She knows how to get 7x7 but she is not quick about it.
I am considering going back to Ray's Arithmetic again and starting the 4th grade in that program.
Any opnions from anyone familiar with these programs?

I have only briefly looked at R&S math. I hated it. Too many problems, too much repetition. I also don't agree with the idea that children should accept that 2 + 2 is 4 based on the teacher's authority alone. (I did read this in some R&S publication.)

If I had to choose between those two only, I'd choose Ray's.
