Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm looking for more living books for my 11 year old science fan. I cannot keep up with him but he is on a Chemistry mission. He has already read the textbooks I have around the house (everything from the Real Science for kids that he read in one day to my old high school and old college texts that ended up at the library sale for 25 cents), is mostly kinesthetic learner and learned most of his chemistry creating chemical reactions so I'm not sure why I'm trying to find more resources for him - but ...   Also, my highschool science hater needs something a bit more enticing than the standard textbook fare which becomes our fall back when she won't touch the subject. Any living books in Chemistry, Physics or Physical science that are particularly right on.

Janet,

You might like the Friendly Chemistry program. It's a hands-on approach to chemistry that is a lot of fun. More information can be found at their site www.friendlychemistry.com. Karen
