I am trying to find some sugar roses ready made to decorate a cake for the feast of Saint Therese - I just cannot make them. Does anyone have any idea where I can get some from - or an alternative?

Do you like to use chocolate molds? How about making your own chocolate roses.

Merkens chocolate pieces taste like chocolate.

Last year, for St. Therese, we dipped pretzel sticks into melted chocolate and applied a few chocolate, flower decorations. The pretzels were supposed to be a table decoration as well.

My kids didn't like the taste the candy

You can try asking any local bakery or grocery store that has a bakery to make you some frosting roses.

Pink- or red-tinted marzipan is easy to work with if you don't like piping roses. I taught my dds 2 Christmases ago and they did a good job -- not perfect roses but not bad either!
