I am looking to make clay masks for christmas gifts for all my gal friends . Have any of you made these before ? Recipes ? I'd like to make it dry and then they just add water when time to apply it .
   Should I sterelize the clay ? would I just do it in the oven ?
I also was wondering about items to add to it for scent etc.
what about dried cucumber or mint ? My sil has a wonderful new food dehydrator so she is willing to help .

Ok I now have the answer for myself
I'm going to dry bake the clay to sterelize it . Filter it as well . Then my sil is dehydrating cucumber for me and I have dried wild mint . I will crush them altogether to make a nice grainy type powder and give instructions to just add purified wtare to make a nice paste for the face .
    I'll let you all know how it turns out if it is gift worthy or not .
I'm thinking to make an almond oatmeal one as well .
