Nick is on his way home from San Antonio today. He was supposed to fly out Saturday, but Ike is expected to still be a Cat 1 that far inland so he is leaving today. He was also traveling home on 9/11/01...my anxiety for him is a little higher. Can you say a prayer that he makes it home safely today? It is also our Anne's 9th bday-he hopes to be home in time for cake!

Thank you for the prayers! He made it home just as we were sitting down to dinner last night. Nick told me that the local officials on the Texas coast are telling people that if they don't evacuate, they are facing "almost certain death". Yet on the news I see that people are planning on riding out the storm.
