Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Anyone know anything about the mangosteen fruit and the claims of how healthy the juice is for you?

I just heard about it today, from a friend, who is a distributor. It sounds interesting...but I'm wondering if it is a scam too??? I don't know. She claims it has helped her and her kids even.

Wondering if anyone here has any personal experience with it???

It tastes very good.

There will be some who claim miracle cures.

My Chiro carried it.

I remain skeptical

You can go to almost any health food store - or even natural-ish grocery stores - I don't know if you guys have Sunflower Market? and find similar products for much less $$$.

Xango is actually a mixture of a bunch of different juice - including pear, apple, grape, etc...

It is like Noni juice or Goji juice.

All berries are anti-oxidents, and most fruit is good for you.

And you can always go to an Asian grocer and get an actual mangosteen fruit.

I think it is a scam. My DH did lighting for a competing companies product Mango-xan, I think? It is basically the same thing tho. (he didn't work for them, he worked for the hotel where they had their meeting.) They were even trying to sell it to him, sign him up as a distributer, etc.

But, it does taste good, as far as fruit juice goes...

Sure, it's good for you, just like any fruit juice is, full of antioxidants. But for the price, you'd probably be better off just buying a juicer and making your own fruit juice.
My uncle sold the Noni stuff, and I bought it just to humor him. I could certainly never tell that it did anything at all for any of us health wise, if we could manage to choke it down. The mango whatever does taste better than the noni.
