Hey ladies...i was just browsing lori's (amazing) site with a view to doing a last big card purchase and i saw the animals tracks free download. I'm curious how you presented this lesson, if you've used this!

Rebecca, I used them in conjunction with Jim Arnosky's Field Trips Guide, sorry I don't have a link handy and then used them as I would any other three part card series. My ds loves these

We used them in conjunction with a mammals unit we were doing. I presented them as usual 3 part cards, then also had the kids use them to make their own tracks in the "snow" (which was some of that magic sand stuff in a tray).
Here is a picture of that:

Then, of course we went out and looked for tracks. We also looked at and compared the dog's and cat's tracks.
