She has had an on going rash for the past 2 months, mostly all over her legs/thighs, but also on her tummy/trunk and underarms to some degree. It does not seem to itch, but is very red, raised and nasty looking. So far, no one has been able to tell me either what it is or how I can stop the outbreaks. Her regular Dr. is in the office this morning, I am going to be taking her in to see him. Please pray that the Lord will grant him the wisdom to know what it is that is causing the outbreaks and what I can do for her. Because it covers such a large area of her body, my biggest concern is the possibility of infection. I am worried about her!

Has she been tested for Candida? It is a systemic yeast infection. Just curious.
I will definitely be praying for healing for your little one.

Hi Everyone and thank you for your prayers! The Dr. told me that she has chronic urticaria. He said that given our family history of lots of asthma, allergies, etc., this response in the baby does not surprise him. He recommended a dose of antihistamine, so I gave that to her just a short while ago and am hoping to see the hives subside. They do not itch or weep (no pustules, etc.), they just look really ugly when you know how "peachy" a baby's skin should be!

Hi All,
I had to take dd back to the Dr. this afternoon because she started to run a fever of 101, in addition to the rash. She needed to have a full panel of blood work done, and results should be available this evening or tomorrow. PLEASE pray that she doesn't have anything serious! The Dr. is thinking that she may just have a virus, but he wants to make sure she doea not have a bacterial infection or anything else. I will update you all when I hear something!
