We have some issues that have come up with our extended family that are going to strain things with my husband's family for the foreseeable future. Dh and I have some decisions to make about how we will deal with all this. He hates this kind of thing and tends to just want to cut all ties with most of his family, which, considering the circumstances is pretty close to where we're headed for the sake of our children's souls.
In the short run there are some things we will need to discuss with our older children, things that pain my mother's heart greatly to have to talk to them about but need to in order to protect them.
Please pray that we find the right words, that we are charitable in all things, and make the appropriate decisions and my dh be filled with grace and strength.
