Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

A while back, we were discussing movies and I recommended the movie No Reservations. I had seen it with dh and we had left the theater commenting that our older children, at least could see it. Older being 17, 12 and 10.

Well, we watched it last night with the family and I am sorry to say that it contained a few things that we missed or just had forgotten by the end of the movie. It is just a few crass statements, but enough to justify previewing it before showing your kids.

Actually, I think it all went right over everyone but the 12 yr old. The other kids tend to miss a lot of what is said in movies anyway. If they don't understand something they tend to ignore it.

Anyway, I want to apologize for my earlier endorsement. I do really like the movie. If they could have left out one character there wouldn't be any issue. I don't understand why they find it necessary.
