I have all my little saint pictures of each month for the liturgical wheel and I'd like to have a link for each month's page in my sidebar so that people can just click on them and download them for their own need...is there anyway I can do this?
I do have two in the sidebar at present but they were uploaded onto my old website, which should have been closed down late last year, the internet company still haven't cut it off for some reason but I can't use it for future things, so I need a new way to get them on my blog.
Many thanks in advance!

Anne - I've looked and looked for a way to get docs up on my blogger blog. I haven't found anything -- and I can't tell you how much time I wasted doing it.
The only work around I've found is by saving something as a .jpeg on my computer (I can do this in my print options of all places - I have a mac). Then, I can upload the .jpeg just like a picture and there is an image there that someone can click on and enlarge just like a picture. You'd have to upload pages individually, but it might work out just fine with your saint images because then you'd have a pretty little row of saints images on your sidebar. Anyway, check to see if there is a way to "save as" somewhere in one of your preferences and try saving as a .jpeg.
If you can't figure out a way to do anything else, pm me. You can email me your files, I'll save them for you as .jpegs and email them back to you and then you'll have them to upload to your blog.
I'm the work-around queen!

OK - I am really untechnical - but I have succeeded in google docs - but I have only uploaded word and excel files so far. What I do is log into google docs (same password as for blogger) - upload the file from my computer - and then under the share option I publish it - and then link to the file in my blog using the published address.
If you look at any of my history posts or the science learning plan or the art plan on the blog - I have schedules linked.
To link as a side bar - I think you would just post as a text link once your document is published.

Thank you, thank you! I'll work on that today and see how I go! If not your way Marilyn (which I'll try first), I'll then try the other way Jennifer (you know, the 'work around' one, I'm GREAT at that too...where there's a will, there's a way..I say..)
I have another question...how can I get 3 columns in blogger..Jennifer I just went to Wildflowers and Marbles and saw you have 3 columns..can you step me through that?
Thanks Again!

Here's a great site for Blogger Tips. Although I don't have a blog I am familiar with blogger's code. If you need help, feel free to PM me.

Anne - I tried to pm you back, but your inbox must be full!
Regarding my 3 column blog - About a year ago I hacked into the code and changed it in order to have 3 columns. It was frustrating to figure out. Here is a tutorial that walks you through the process. It can be done, but it was a bit of a pain.
Then, I lost the code when I changed templates, and I decided to pay someone to design a template for Wildflowers and Marbles. I was so pleased with her work - and I specifically requested that she make my blog a 3 column blog. It was so easy, and so non-frustrating! I loved working with her. She did the work very quickly! Her site is here - Shabby Creations. She designs specifically for blogger.
If I didn't have soooo much at blogger, I'd probably jump ship and go to typepad, but I don't want to move my blog.

Thank you Jennifer, I will work on your info today and see if I can do it.
I love the new look BTW of Wildflowers and Marbles and have already looked at Shabby Creations from your site, they have beautiful things!
I know what you mean about having so much at blogger..I actually have a site with typepad (Tota Pulchra Beads) but it has been SUCH A HEADACHE that I couldn't think of transferring and continuing Starry Mantle on with typepad (even though I'm entitled to 3 blogs all up with my typepad package) I have found typepad so much more complicated than blogger but it is sure to be ALL ME...I really struggle learning things on the computer...
I'll clean up my pm box...
