Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I make baby blankets for every baby that come into our lives, whether family of friends. I finished one last night while I sat up with sick kids-and I am getting tired of the many patterns I use over and over again.

What are your favorite patterns for baby blanket gifts? The next baby in line for a blanket is an expected girl-so think pink!

I prefer knitting, but I crochet also, so I would love to see some of your favorites.

Joann ...

There's one I designed for a boy -- but looks just as cute in pink (!) -- that I'd be happy to send you the pattern. Done on 11 dpns, starting at the center, and changing to circs when needed. It's fun and goes to together quickly. Here's a link to a blog post so you can see the design.

PM me if you need more info.
