And I thought it was hard the first time I let her go to the movies with her friends alone. Or to Band camp for a week.

This whole "packing and getting ready to send your baby 1300 miles away to a college all by herself" is very, very hard.

Also, I put up a series of pictures of her on my website. I know it is a picture intensive post, but if you are so inclined,

Right there with you, Laura. My "baby" just called me today fresh from settling in to her new dorm room at UNC. It was/is very hard to let her go. She sounded very happy though, and I know she is going to do great.That's my consolation.

My husband is with FOCUS at Northern Colorado, so I thought I would ask in the case that we might meet her! :-)

She is going to Univ. North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Sorry you guys won't get to meet up!

I just KNEW this was about "letting go."
My ds is 10 and I see it coming and am already sad. Pray for me!!! Dh just doesn't get it and it goes by soooo fast!
