UPDATE!!
I wanted to let you all know how very much we appreciate your prayers and how sustaining they were! We found out today (on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary!) that our Mortgage company has approved our request for a loan modification and so now we are waiting for papers in the mail to sign.
This modification means that the foreclosure threat is gone, the past due payments are added to the end of the loan and our interest rate has been lowered significantly for the life of the loan. This is such a tremendous blessing in so many ways I can hardly describe it.
My husband is still searching for a job but he did have a very good interview last week with a company 5 miles from our house! He has gotten to the 2nd stage of the process and we are very hopeful that this will be the one. Please God, let this be the one!
I just wanted to let you all know how much I appreciate your prayers and encouragement. May God bless you all!

Hello,
I have a double prayer request (and a prayer of thanksgiving!)
We have been experiencing financial hardship for the last year. My husband had a job interview today that sounds very promising. Please, if you can, pray that he will get this job. We are in a desperate hour.
On that note, our house is scheduled to be sold at foreclosure on Sept 2 unless we can come up with $10K or another way to stop the foreclosure. We are looking into bankruptcy but we are still discerning. We both truly believe the Lord led us to our current home and so we have faith that we will stay here but at times I am not sure. My husband and I both believe that God will take care of us, we just don't know how it will be!
And in thanksgiving, I had an u/s yesterday and our newest addition is perfectly healthy. That does my mother's heart a world of good.
I know you ladies will pray faithfully and we so appreciate your prayers!

Karen, praying that your home will be right, kept safe and sound, it might be very tempting to worry greatly over such things, so your beautiful trust is most admirable. Blessed news with bubs as well, praying it will continue well until the little blessing is in your arms.

I'm so edified by your level of trust. Praying that your dh does indeed receive the job offer he is longing for. Praying that God makes crystal clear to you through your dh exactly what His plan is regarding your home. And, begging our Sweet Mother to keep her watchful eye on your precious little one while you shelter him within.

Praying here. We have had similar problems not being able to sell a house after the Army moved us. I know how stressful it can be.

Thank you all for your continued prayers. My husband met with an attorney recommended by our Priest this week and we were encouraged after that meeting. We found out that we can stall the foreclosure w/o bankruptcy, which is a good thing! He hasn't heard back about any job yet, but he did apply for another job that is actually in our town (most of his work is 60 miles away and with the cost of gas these days...) and we have been praying for him to get a job closer to home for a year now. I am hopeful that tomorrow he will get some positive news as I have turned all of this over to the Blessed Mother and what better day than tomorrow to get news!

Thank you all so much for the prayers. It was especially helpful to keep me from being tempted to worry. I had some of those "almost worrying" moments this weekend and then when I heard the Gospel at Mass on Sunday and my Priest's homily about how we have to never give up faith, I felt a little better!
Monday morning we got a call that, for now, the foreclosure is on hold, PRAISE GOD. We aren't out of the woods yet, but we do have some breathing room. Now I am hopeful that my husband will hear about a job close to home very soon.
