We were in the middle of refinancing our house, the lender set a closing date this morning for next Wednesday and then my husband gets a call this afternoon that we can't refinance because FHA won't let you go from a lower to a higher rate (we were actually going to be saving money because of the way our current holder had handled our escrow account). I am livid and hurt and panicking. We were skipping our August payment with this refinance and we have already spent most of it on home repairs. The new lender is talking about pulling from our equity to pay the mortgage for this month, but that means taking out a second mortgage! How is it that we are being punished for the lenders mistake! We really need prayers to get this figured out. This puts us in a horrible position, we have no savings and I don't know what we are going to do. Please pray that this gets worked out. Thanks so much!

We're waiting to find out what is going on with our car before we do anything about the mortgage. I know that sounds silly, but it all has to do with whether we need a car loan or not. Hopefully we'll find out about that tomorrow and can then move forward and get past all of this. I swear, when it rains, it pours here! Thanks for the prayers.
