Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

"Convert boring units to real objects as you type!"

It's fun to type in any measurement you can think of
and see what answers it generates. You can tab to "units" for
traditional conversions anytime, but it's the "objects" function that
makes this site neat. For example, if you type in 10 centimeters, you
get 13 dry basmati rice grains end to end, 10 stacked CD cases, 2 AA
batteries end to end, or 1.5 US dollar bills end-to-end. And 5 miles
can get you 25 Eiffel Towers or 18 Empire State Buildings. Try it!

We had fun finding things that weigh the same as youngest son.....

sensible units
