Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Okay, I am having trouble finding a unique avatar for myself here. I had a photo from photobucket but it disappeared. I tried googling for one but there are so many creepy sites. And I can't figure out how to resize a picture from my computer to make it work. I am the ultimate technology failure!

Can someone help? A good site to look at, maybe?

If you have microsoft photo editor (I think it's standard with windows), just:
1.open the picture
2.select image from the taskbar
3.select resize which will open a box
4.set the units to pixels, instead of inches
5.change pixels to 64x64 or something smaller
6.save and upload

If you have Adobe photoshop, everything is the same, except #3: select image size, which will open a box

If you have a mac, forget everything I just said.

Hope that helps.

Stef taught me about sites like this one:

http://www.resize2mail.com/

Where you upload your photo, then the site resizes it and you can save the smaller one to your own computer to upload here (or anywhere) for your avatar.
