Please pray for my cousin Shane. He was found murdered this morning/afternoon. By his mother, my aunt. PLEASE pray for his soul. I don't even know if he was ever baptized...

They don't know who did it, or why...but he was shot in the back of the head, so they know it wasn't a suicide. He had his share of problems, but he was still family.

Please pray for my aunt--he was the oldest of her two sons/dc, and had been living with her earlier this year. And for my grandmother, who lives with my aunt, has a bad heart, and is in poor health, and will not be able to help. Love her, got to accept the facts of the matter.

There will likely be an autopsy, etc. Please pray for the coroner, the police who are investigating, and all of those who knew my cousin--incl his brother...who is now an only child.

Lord, have mercy...

Edited to add:

I talked to my dad. He said my aunt found him at his trailer--she was going to be taking him to a dr's apptmt., and found him laying down on his bed, face first, shot in the back of his head, blood everywhere, of course. He was alive, temporarily, but while they life-flighted him, he was not able to make it.

In a way, I am glad it was not instantaneous, as maybe, just maybe he had a moment of clarity, to appeal the Mercy of Our Lord....I can only pray that that is the case...he was never quite right, but still....
