Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I just had to tell someone...
when we lived in Mississippi I said "I wish we had a low wooden table for puzzles and games". He went out to the garage and built me one.

Last month I wished aloud on a Thursday for a set of bunk beds so I could put all three girls in one bedroom. Sunday night we had bunk beds!

And the latest-when we were in Mississippi we took the headrests out of the van because everyone was still in those high back car seats. Of course we didn't take the headrests when we evacuated for Katrina and they floated away. Now that the girls are outgrowing car seats and booster seats we really need headrests. I thought we were going to have to do without until we bought a new vehicle.

Wednesday Nick brought home three headrests!! Turns out he has been stopping by auto salvage yards on his way home from work and looking for what we needed.

I am so blessed to have such a great husband! He goes above and beyond to meet our needs and even just our wishes!!

Aren't husbands great! I love it when they so joyfully sacrifice well deserved downtime for family benefit. Today is my hubby's birthday and he is outside with a friend putting together our new/old Rainbow play structure. He really wanted to golf today, but this needed to get done, so he's doing it!

Blessings,
Betsie
PS We found the play structure at Salvation Army for $200!! It gets better, because my dad is 60 now, we got the senior discount of 25%! We have an almost new Rainbow play structure for $150!!!! Okay, that had nothing to do with this thread, but I am so excited! This has to be the best thing I have ever thrifted!
