Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

This is really stupid. I took two excedrin out of a foil packet to take for an incipient headache, decided to hold off, and since the pills were in a now-destroyed foil packet, put them in my bathrobe pocket to take later on if my headache worsened. I NEVER do such things, being manic about medicine safety. The long and short of it, the two excedrin must have fallen out of my pocket, they are not there. I am beside myself looking for these pills which could be so dangerous to my little ones, especially the three year old. I have crawled up and down the halls of the house looking for them, and every where else I went in my robe (and places I didn't go, too). I'm begging St. Anthony to intercede on my behalf to find the medicine. I'll go thru Medicine Safety 101 with my little ones in the morning, but this really has me frantic. I can vacuum the house from top to bottom, and will do so if I still don't find the two pills, but I feel like I'm sitting on a time bomb without knowing what happened to the medicine.

Praying, Kelly! I always pray to the eyes of the Virgin Mary when I've lost something, so I'm praying to her now!

Praying here, Kelly! I did the same thing with a tasty chewable asthma medicine yesterday, put it in my sweatshirt pocket to carry down to Kirsten...

Noooo. But I've discovered just about everything else imaginable. I've looked everywhere, finally vacuumed everywhere. Given Safety 101 to all the littles, still keeping a lookout. Maybe it's a timely discussion, though, with Halloween candy looming around the corner, and the yearly concern with people putting bad stuff in the candy (tho we trick-or-treat in our own neighborhood, so it's not a huge concern).

Thanks for the prayers.

Well, St. Anthony put in a good word, and I found the medicine last night-in the same places I had looked before (with the possible exception of a different bathrobe)! Thank you for your prayers .

I thought of you last night while in the library with 1 yr. old dd. I set her down for a moment and she promptly found some teeny little thing on the floor, so of course I grabbed it right away and was horrified to see it was some kind of pill; not a tylenol or anything but a prescription pill. Glad you can rest and be at peace now!!
