The month of the July is the month of the Precious Blood, so I thought I'd link you to my blog, some books and the Precious Blood Manual which is a beautiful little book full of prayers to the Precious Blood.

I have started again this year a Precious Blood Craft Activity (07) that I blogged about with photos last year, it is a tangible way for children to make reparation to the Precious Blood, it is a very easy craft and an activity that will continually remind the children of the month they are in.

Here is a link to my postings last year for the month of July lots of prayers to the Precious Blood in particular.

I just purchased this book from bookdepository and have just happened to have started reading it in the last few days, Sacred Blood, Sacred Image - The Sudarium of Oviedo I highly recommend this book, this is the reality - Jesus' Precious Blood poured out brutally for our sins, the scientific studies done on this face cloth help support and further prove the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin - there are images of this sudarium, where you can see the Precious Blood of Jesus on this cloth...just beautiful.. It is another masterfully researched and well written book by Janice Bennett.

Another book I've just bought but haven't started to read as yet is: The Precious Blood by Father Faber it looks good!

Lastly, the most beautiful little prayer manual - Precious Blood Manual it is only about $2.50 I think..there is no other prayer book like this one specifically dedicated to the Precious Blood.

Molly, I was thinking of Jen's lovely idea for the month of the Sacred Heart which was here on her blog. The image of the ribbons into the chalice I think make this a great idea to continue into the month of the Precious Blood. So it's a bit like the one Anne posted last year, but a variation.
