PLease pray for my ds who is sick today with a fever, feeling cold, feelling EXTRA grumpy. I *so* do not need my dd to catch this... we are transitioning medications for her this weekend, and her doctor has warned us that alone could be rough.
Please pray my ds son recovers quickly and we all stay healthy. PLease

Of course, dd got sick the very next day ( but at least it was quickly, so I wasn't holding out false hope and trying to keep the kids apart all the time).
She is always twice as sick and for twice as long. She has a lot of sinus drainage tonight and cannot get comfortable lying down to sleep. PLus, she will often vomit if the drainage is very bad. I am praying that will not happen tonight... we've had two tough nights in a row now with this, and we all need some sleep.
We were able to transition her off one medication- which was not helping her and only made her weepy, tired and crabby all day. We had two full months of crying all day on that medication, so while I am sorry it did not help her, I am not sorry to see it go. But the new medication does not seem to be helping much either  - maybe because she is so sick right now. I will give it a few more days before I report back to the doctor.
Please keep us in your prayers- they are so crucial for us right now. Thank you.

I thought we'd dodged the fever/chills/sinus drainage/vomiting bullet with dd this time, but it came this morning. It came on as suddenly as ever and was more horrible than usual this time. We took a trip to the doctor, confirmed it was a virus and no medication can help  , then came home, where she felt better and better all day- and more into mischief with her brother and, I'm sorry to say, wearing on my frazzled nerves.
Must pray for more patience...
