Things have been plodding along since the temporary decision by the Judge. My son goes to the dad's house every other week for 5 days at a time, and is supposed to receive homeschooling there. I send the items with him, but they don't get done.
Today my son told his dentist and nurse that his plans for the summer included going to his dad's where they hit him on the face. 
The dentist graciously came out to the waiting room to inform me (and everyone else) that he was on the phone with Social Services.
I contacted my attorney when we got home to update our file.
I asked what would happen (to me) if I refuse to take him for future custody visits.
I'm waiting for a response.
I could REALLY use some prayers right now -- for my son, for this situation, for myself.

Am also praying that the "good" God makes of this abuse (Romans 8:28) is full-time custody for you.

Dear Paula,
I will be offering prayers for this situation to be resolved, and also for your dear little boy that if he must go back into that environment that he is safe and well treated. But hopefully that he will never have to go back at all.
I would be beside myself as well.
