Dear friends, please keep my grandfather in you prayers these next few days. He is very will with pneumonia and a possible blood clot. He lives in Peru. My father (and mother) are leaving for Peru tomorrow morning. He is in intensive care. We are waiting to see if a new antibiotic will clear the infection and if he can breathe easier on his own. He is intubated but not on a respirator. Please pray God’s will be done. We would love to have him with us longer but would also ask that if God is calling him home, that it be a peaceful death. I know my grandfather has long missed my grandmother since she died some 22 years ago. Prayers too for my aunt who lives with him. She has never lived with anyone but her parents and prone to anxiety and depression. This has been very hard for her.

I'm so happy to share that my grandfather is slowly improving. He is still very weak, but may be able to come out of intensive care on Monday. The tube is out. The new antibiotic is doing its work. My father was able to visit with him briefly this morning. The doctor says it will be a long recovery due to his age, but otherwise things are looking good. Thanks be to God!
