Dear friends,
I come to you begging for more prayers and to let you know what has been happening lately....
I was able to go to a holistic practitioner last week and had the best week ever since I saw her as she pretty much diagnosed the major of my problems. I KNOW in my heart that it is due to the many many prayers being offered for us! THANK YOU!! There were a few little miracles associated with this...I can only explain them as a direct result of your intercession!
Many of you probably remember that I had suffered with a weird ailment the last three pregnancies and I was starting to get the same symptoms almost from the start instead of farther along.

anyhow, the really interesting thing is, they think it is a combination of low stomach acid as well as SILENT heartburn...I never knew I had it but evidentially it ruined everything from my stomach up to my tongue and that is what made me feel like I had a lump in my throat and lost my voice and made it hard to swallow and breathe. The low stomach acid made it hard for my body to digest my food. I always felt like my food was not digesting properly but couldn't "prove" that much other than bring it up and of course no one knew what to do about it.
Now I have been fighting the symptoms off since the beginning of this pregnancy and many of the things I was doing to try and make myself as healthy as possible, I found out, are great for this kind of condition. I just needed a little more help. I am taking extra enzymes with 2 herbs that coat and soothe the throat and stomach if any acid does get out. &n bsp; &n bsp;
I had such a good week after I started taking these...it was as though I got a new lease on life! I was so grateful.
I did a bad thing tonight tho...
I went out to eat with dh and my body HATES me right now. I am having such trouble sleeping and my throat is bothering me. God is the only one who knows what they put in my food that my body hates. From now on, I am making my own. but meanwhile...I have 7 kids that will be up in just over 3 hours that need me. I am having such trouble just staying on top of things because of the heat and humidity...we can't afford all the gas to the new midwife (an hour and 15 minutes away) AND air conditioning bills. I did just see them today and I think the trip was waaay too hard on me. That coupled with the food is making me feel like I want to rev up AND shut down...I hate this feeling. I hope it is just for tonight. I am so exhausted.
Please pray for me that I can stay on top of this. I have kept such a great routine going that I just found out that I lost 7 lbs in the last 6 weeks...that should make me feel better but I can't enjoy any snoopy dances till I actually get some rest.
Please pray for my dh that we can fix our money woes and deal better with our financial issues. We are thinking that we are being called to move to central pa but in order to do that takes a lot too. This house is just making us feel claustrophobic as we are really outgrowing it...ok...so we have a lot on our plate right now. I need prayer support to handle it all. I really need encouragement to make it till the baby comes in October...will you PLEASE pray for me?? I can not begin to tell you what this means to me and I do pray for all of you and your intentions. I cannot reply to each and every prayer request as I just have a few minutes each day to be on this 'puter but I read them and place the intentions immediately in our family's prayer list. I just thought you should know...
Thank you for reading all of this if you got this far. I am 23 weeks now and tired and tired and worn out...please pray me over the finish line!!

Praying for you! It sounds like your plate is full, but believe me, it will all work out. I felt much the same way when we were getting ready to move overseas (except I was not pregnant). God will work all things out in his own good time.

Praying Donna Marie!
My pregnancy problems were not as severe as yours, but I had a cough and breathing problems triggered by heartburn, on top of hormone related asthma. In the end it took a pulmonary specialist to work out why the cough and breathlessness persisted even though the asthma was apparently under control. Once the heartburn was dealt with the rest improved ... though it never cleared completely and I also lost my voice. Even my lesser problem was bad enough, so I truly feel for you
