She's 12. She made all honors classes for fall for the second year in a row. She's in talented and gifted. She's a first chair in band. She made the dance squad for fall. She's never brought home a "C"
Last night we found out she has a boyfriend.
And he's 17.
Seventeen.
Her attitude just turned on a dime. She's always had problems with her mother, but she's always talked to her father. Until last night. She wouldn't answer his questions and just gave him attitude. She told him she was just ignoring him.
Her mother is not helping matters. She keeps saying not to be too hard on her.
Just pray, please. She doesn't live with us and only comes over maybe once a month. I don't know how to have any influence over her. I'm at a loss.

Oh no! I will pray. I know how decisions like this can affect the rest of your life. Poor girl. I hope that her mother understands the seriousness of this situation.

St. Michael the archangel defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray. And do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell, Satan, and all the evil spirits who prowl around the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
May the hearts and souls of these young people be protected and may they receive respectful and right guidance.
