Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I've tried about every carrier and sling with the last 4 babies and either they don't like it or it really hurts my back. I've been looking at the pouch and I think it may be different. Does anyone have one? Declan is already 15 lbs at 8 weeks and my arms are getting a workout.

Jen,
I don't have one (no tiny ones around here) but I have several friends who are using Maya pouches right now and really like them. Another one that is popular in those same circles is the Moby Wrap. Have you tried that one? Eveyone says it it great because it is so changable and distributes the weight over two shoulders.

Thanks Mary!
I ended up borrowing a Maya Wrap and we both liked it. Then I found one listed on cathswap for $18 which fit my price range, so we are anxiously waiting for it!

I'm dating myself here ...when I got into baby wearing, over the shoulder slings were the way to go. Now, I'm looking at so many other options! A friend suggested a moby wrap and my daughter is into sewing    Here are some links: sewing baby wraps and sewing baby wraps. In the mean time, I'm still loving my dependable slings .

Love,
