Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I have a jar of honey with the honeycomb in it. I am assuming we can eat it, I just don't know how. Any ideas?

I just pull it out and eat it (if I can get to it quicker than other little fingers ) You just chew it up until all is left is the wax and I just spit it out (maybe you can eat that too, I'm not sure..) It is very healthy for you of course and it is real treat when we can buy it like that.

I had some girls bring in some honeycomb from their bee hives when I was leading a 4H group. They were so cute...as the other children were passing it around and looking at it, these girls would take a chomp every time it passed by. The other children thought they were crazy...but the girls were enjoying themselves!!!! I'd say go for it!

Oh how fun!! I think I will let my youngsters try it out first and let me know how it is. I can be such a chicken sometimes
