I'm looking for a light-tasting whipped cream icing for cake that is a bit more stable (pipe-able, easier to decorate with) than just plain whipped cream with sugar...anybody know of one?

Thanks in advance!

I have never tried this, but have you tried to mix it with some powdered Jello pudding?

Thanks Fuzzy and Angie...that recipe sounds delicious! I've been hunting around and I found a recipe that calls for a can of sweetened condensed milk to be whipped into the (mostly) whipped cream. I might just have to gain a few pounds trying these out!

Thanks again!

Mary,
I used this recipe today to put on top of a bread pudding:
Fluffy White Frosting

I put it in the oven at low heat the last 10 minutes (till light brown) of baking because of the raw egg white (just as protection since boiled sugar-water had been added to it).

It was yummy...like melted marshmallows almost.

You have to pile it on thick though because it does tend to separate if you bake it.
