I just wanted to let everyone know, since I just checked, that first class stamps are going up $.01 on May 12th. I knew the change was coming, I just wasn't sure when.

Is anything going DOWN?  It would make me so happy to find just one small item whose price has gone down. A glimmer of hope in an ugly reality, you know?

Ahh! I just bought 2 books yesterday! It's just a pain in the neck to have to buy all those 1 cent stamps.

My husband was at the P.O. last night where the staff indicated that the rates will now go up EVERY MAY. Just how much the rates will go up annually will be announced 90 days in advance of the hike.

I am SO glad that they finally came up with forever stamps! I was still adding 2 cent stamps to old ones until very recently. And now they're raising the price again.

I know Sam's sells stamps (so does the walmart near where I live). Not sure about costco.
I bought two books a few weeks ago, and I'll be buying another book soon. I don't do "much" mail, but I'm doing more than I used to...I just wish they made them in prettier designs, iykwim.
