There are so many people with so many worries, this seems a bit trivial but....I'm asking anyway for a small prayer this afternoon.
I have barely been sleeping because of anxiety over my husband's business and our financial situation. He is very stressed and over-reacting to many things around the house. Today we spent the morning planting the first 150 feet of our garden, then we took a break because I was physically exhausted and dh was mentally on edge. HE decided to take ds9 to the movies this afternoon (they have had a hard time of it lately) and went out the door to leave. I put the littles down ofr naps and headed for the tub. AS soon as I got in , dh came to tell me he had decided to chop down a tree in the woods that was blocking sun to the garden before he left, but it fell the wrong way and the entirety landed in our neighbors' yard.
We have spent the last 2 hours chopping this tree into pieces and dragging it into our yard and we are not halfway through it. I am so tired I could cry and I know dh feels like he could just lose it. Any prayers you could offer would be great. Sorry this is so long.

Thanks ladies. The tree has been summarily chopped and carried to our yard and the raking done. I don't know if I'll be able to move a muscle in a couple of hours, but we are all really proud of the work we did together and it seemed to ease tensions a bit.
On the positive side, the tree was a birch...I'll have plenty of birch blocks to put away for Christmas next year!

Colleen, I was praying for you and am glad to hear the positive resolution. Your episode reminded me of one our family had having to do with our sprinkler system. I won't go into details for fear of airing our family's dirty laundry . Our *sprinkler fiasco* has now become part of our family history, bringing great joy to the children who find hilarity in the whole thing...especially their parents losing their cools . It took a little longer for Dave and I to see the humor in it .
We pray a daily Memorare for your employment and financial concerns.
Love,
