Would you all mind saying a quick prayer for my friend Nan? She's in beginning labor as we speak--contractions 8 minutes apart--but now has stalled. This is her 7th, she's overdue but has been dilated 2cm for weeks. She's very discouraged and tired. She tried mowing the lawn, planting bulbs, you name it, so now's she's trying being still. Anyway, I know she'd appreciate any prayers you can spare!!

Praying for a quick labor without complications. Praying for a healthy baby. I've had 4 csections (only 1st one with labor) so I don't know what it's like to wait for the baby. I always had an absolute end date. It must be so hard.

It's a girl!! Mary Elizabeth arrived at about 6pm, weighing in at 10 lbs. 7 ozs.!! They have two older girls followed by four boys, so everyone is excited to welcome a little sister. Thanks for your prayers!

More prayers would be appreciated--I just spoke with her husband and it seems her hips are having trouble finding their way home! Go figure...with a 10 1/2 pound baby... Anyway, she can't get out of bed or walk by herself. She really wants to come home today, but unless her hips go back in place they'll likely make her stay another night. Keep praying!

So she did have her natural then....I had been wondering. I wonder what they will do to help her "hips find their way home" as her husband put it.

Well, no wonder her hips don't want to get back in place. Wow. I had one as big as hers, but he got stuck and I had to have a csection. Praying for her recovery to be prompt.
