We have started a lapbook about space. I am just putting it together myself. My dd6 and ds8 are the main kids working on this.

I posted a question under the picture book catagory, asking for fiction, fun picture books to go along with this topic, and I got some cute suggestions.

I was wondering if anyone has put a space lapbook together, and what were your favorite elements that you included or would be fun to include?

I don't know if you are touching on astronauts or not, but here is a freebie lapbook on astronauts that I came across.

If nothing else, print off that spacesuit craft where you paste the child's picture into the spacesuit and put it on the front of your lapbook...it could say something like...taking a journey into space or something cute like that. Just an idea, I think the spacesuit is cute!!

Thank's Candace! I will certainly be using some of these ideas! And you are right, the spacesuit is real cute--the kids will really like that.

Oh, thanks for this! I was just thinking that it's been a while since my twins did a lapbook, and their favorite thing is space, so this will be perfect!
