Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I hope this is the correct spot for this.

I used K12 for when two of my children were learning phonics. I liked the program, and I know it.

I can't purchase just the student pages for K or 1st. I have the teacher books.

So, I either have to recycle the student pages, or I need to go with something totally different.

I still have two children who are going to learn how to read.

Any suggestions?

Hi dancingmama
I'm not sure I know what K12 is. Do you have a link? or a brief description?

Maybe you could find the student books on eBay?

I used K12 phonics also with my first two kids, and I'm in the second semester of 1st grade phonics with number three. :)

I happened to have an extra set of student pages for this little guy, but I think I could teach without them at this point, focusing just on the letter tiles and the Phonicsworks readers. The student worksheets aren't really a big part of the program, and I tended to skip them. (Usually one worksheet is optional anyway.) The hardest part would be not having the unit assessments, however the teacher pages have the unit assessments printed in there with the answers. I'd just recopy some stuff onto the white board and do the rest orally. I agree that you may be able to find the student pages on ebay if you really need them though.

Like you, I prefer to stick with what I know works for me. :)
