If you have a little boy or girl who likes pirates, Shiver Me Letters is a cute read.

The pirates are ordered to find all the letters of the alphabet or walk the plank. R!!! And it was fun and not scary at all, so all the sensitive little ones won't be scared.

How fun! I'll have to keep my eyes out for this one. Ds wants to be a pirate when he grows up. I keep telling him he still needs table manners to be a pirate, though.

Oh Jenn - it's so funny how our boys seem to share the same likes at the same time! My dh keeps asking me how we are going to explain that pirates were bloody-thirsty thieves - great aspiration!

Ever since our time living in the Caribbean...on the beach....where the Pirates of the Caribbean movies were filmed...my boys (and my dh) have loved pirates. This book will have to join our collection when a little amazon cash presents itself!
