Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

I'm making this Garlic Lover's White Bean Soup for dinner tonight for my family and a guest. I started early to account for kidterupptions and now the soup is done over an hour before our guest is going to arrive. Will it be okay to just leave it on the back of the stove on lo heat until it's time to serve it, or should I refrigerate it and then warm it up when it's dinnertime? Help!

Thanks!

Dawn

I do all the time! (Leave it out, that is!) The longer bean soup sits, the better it tastes, IMHO. (Bean Porridge in the pot nine days old.)

This has fresh parsley in it...the recipe said to add it in the last 30 min. of cooking. Will that make a difference?

Hi Dawn - I'm sorry I missed your reply!!! How was the soup? I've never put fresh parsley in soup, but I've used other fresh herbs and it's always been fine.
