Please share your favorite aspirations and how you remember to pray them (and when and where you pray them).
I've heard that some people put them on post-its around the house in places that they see daily. Care to share your ideas? One time I say them is as I am leaving the room of a child at nighttime, the last thing I say is an aspiration, so he will learn them.
My favorites that I can think of right now:
Sweet Heart of Jesus, be my Love and make me a saint.
O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.
Immaculate Heart of Mary, Cause of our joy, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.
Jesus, meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Yours.
Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love you, save souls.
God is so good, all of the time.
Jesus I trust in You.
Please share yours, and how you remember to pray them.

I must say "Jesus I trust in You" a thousand times a day, especailly lately. Also, my wonderful priest told me when I am at a particularly low time in my life I can switch this to "Jesus, help me to trust in You!"
This one seems to be a real blessing to me.

This is something I must try to do more.
Apart from "Jesus, give me patience" suggested by my priest and prayed VERY often, the only thing we really say is "Jesus I trust in You" or "Jesus I love and adore You" when we see our crucifixes, or "Mary, make me like you" when I see the statue we have of her.
I didn't really know there were special words as such - I have soooo much to learn. It's wonderful!

"Oh Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee" is probably my favourite and we have a Miraculous Medal Prayer Petition Mobile hanging in our home to prompt us all to say it, whenever we look at it.
Also going off to sleep and waking in the night is a good time for me to say them.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you, save souls, is in our communal morning family prayers.
Another I love is another you mentioned: "Jesus meek and humble of heart, make my heart like unto Thine"

Kelly I've popped back before going to bed as I've just been walking from room to room, tracing the sign of the cross of each of the children's heads as they sleep and with that I've always said an aspiration, but they are always ones I've just made up and they change from time to time. I've recently just changed again since I was very, very sick recently, so much so, I thought I was initially dying and so I feel I have a renewed appreciation for praying for a 'good death'.
I say, "I consecrate you to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, may she grant you the grace of a happy death, and carry you safely to heaven one day."

These are also called ejaculations, which is the only name I knew, so I had to think a moment on "aspirations".
"Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place my trust in Thee." Or in times of anxiety, I shorten it to "Jesus, I trust in Thee" and keep repeating.
If we see something immodest or impure, "Virgin most pure, pray for us."
Ambulance or someone hurt or needs help, 3 Hail Marys and "O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to Thee."
Passing a church, make the Sign of the Cross, "Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament I adore You and I love You."
"Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you, save souls" when offering something up.

As a girl, I was taught to say, "My Lord and my God," and, "Jesus, My God, I adore You," as the Host and chalice are elevated. Years later, I was teaching CCD and one of my students confessed that she had trouble paying attention during the consecration at Mass. I told her about these two prayers, and she sighed in relief. Now she had a reason to look, something to say during this solemn moment. I learned something that day!

I only learned about this within the last year! A priest I knew would always mouth the words during the elevation, and I confess I spent much time trying to read his lips. Should've just asked him!

Meant to add also, that I think I will put up some signs around the house near our holy images to get us in the habit of saying these aspirations. (And, okay, one by the computer because, let's face it, that's where I spend a lot of time!) I rarely say things like this out loud, but I know that my son would benefit from hearing them. Thanks for the inspiration!

Would someone share the definition of ejaculation and/or aspiration?
Does this have to be common prayers that are said? or little things we say throughout the day?
I hope I'm not off base, but I'll share what I say daily...some are little reminders...others are more prayer...they lift me up.
Jesus, I Trust in You.
Lord, Have Mercy on me, a sinner.
On my refrig, I've posted:

Love Serves
They are reminders, but I say them often, too.

I don't know if this counts or not, but I've been saying
"Thank You, Father" in response to just about everything lately. Good or bad.
I seem to have swiss cheese for a brain these days, but those 3 words I can remember no problem!
I love those ones to say at the elevations. I'm going to remember those even if I have to write them on my hands before going to Mass!

It's a form of vocal prayer. From Father Hardon's Modern Catholic Dictionary:

Thank you all so much for sharing your ideas so far. They are wonderful and will help me and others. Another one that some lady on this board shared last year (or before): "Yes, Jesus." to whatever is happening.
