Anyone every participate in one of the programs? We missed the training session for this year but went on our own - anyone good with frog identification?frog hunt

I do have one amphibian field guide but it was not the most helpful.

Anyone have one they like for the North Eastern US?

I have to say it was pretty fun.

Donna--Maybe you guys would be interested in the National Wildlife Federation's frogwatch usa. Your post made me remember I wanted to look up the details and try it out with the boys this month. I didn't have time to read yet, but it looks fun.

I never realized how many people were watching frogs!

I think this year we will note our amphibian "hot spots" and then look into something more official for next year.
