As many of you saw in an earlier post, we are moving to Arlington, VA in July. Yep, crazy isn't it?
We sure could use all the prayers y'all can send up for
1. a quick sale on our house here in Denver
2. a smooth move to Northern VA
3. a quick find of a great rental until we're there a year; the school is in Dumfries and we'd love to be nearby!
4. that Catie can get accepted as a boarding student at St. Cecilia Academy in Nashville as she'd love that; else acceptance to a good high school in NoVA for her senior year
5. friends for the littles -- Thomas, Maggie and JP
THANKS!

Prayers for you, Mary -- we're embroiled in the much the same thing, though not looking for schools. I will definitely remember you as we begin our St. Joseph novena.

Prayers coming, Mary. This sounds overwhelming, frightening, but mostly exciting. From what I've gathered, you're no stranger to big moves over the years. Praying for an uneventful transition.
Peace,
Nancy

Yesh, you'd think we were military or something; but we just try to follow God's will (I guess we're kind of missionary at heart!). Our realtor is a great Catholic man whose eldest is a missionary so he thinks we're just wonderful!

Prayers, Mary.
If you daughter does get accepted to the school in Nashville, she'll be about an hour from us here in southern middle TN. We might be able to get together or perhaps help out in some way.
I miss VA very much and I know that you will love it there.
God bless,
Kristen in TN

How close are you to University of the South -- she'd love to go to Sewanee for college a year later ... unless Mount St. Mary's gives her a better package!

Mary you have my prayers! Maybe we should try to get our little guys corresponding again. I know Ronan will be glad to hear his "penpal" is moving near by.

Hi Mary,
If you had asked me this question a few weeks ago (about the University of the South), I would not have known what you were talking about. One really nice day we took a long drive and came across this place by accident! It is about 2 hours away from us. We were going to turn around, were in the middle of nowhere, going up a hill, and all of a sudden this place starts peeking out. I was shocked. The architecture looked like it belonged in Europe, not in the middle of nowhere! (Thought we were in the twilight zone for a minute )
God bless,
Kristen in TN

I am just seeing this Mary. Hurray! I'll pray for all your intentions. The new school sounds fantastic - what any parent would wish for in a Catholic high school.
I look forward to being part of your welcoming committee when you arrive in the area!

Mary,
You are in my prayers. Pm me exactly where you live. My dad is house-hunting in the Springs/Denver area.

Praying for all of your intentions, Mary! I'm so sad for MaryM's family and those in Colorado, but happy for the Virginia moms! When are you gonna move *south*??

Well, since it's the ACC and not the SEC, my dh and eldest son would say it's NOT the South !
We're going to go reconnoiter in June and then move lock, stock and barrel East in July ... we have to be settled by mid-July as we're going to the Dominican motherhouse in Nashville for the Profession of Vows at the end of July and dh has to help get the school opened and running on Aug 1st! It's gonna be hectic but with your prayers (and God's help) we'll "get 'er done" and live to tell about it.
