Oh, Dearest Mother, Sweetest Virgin of Altagracia, our Patroness. You are our Advocate and to you we recommend our needs. You are our Teacher and like disciples we come to learn from the example of your holy life. You are our Mother, and like children, we come to offer you all of the love of our hearts. Receive, dearest Mother, our offerings and listen attentively to our supplications. Amen.

Hi ladies,

I am really sorry if this has already been discussed, but have really tried to do a search on this without finding the answers.

My dds love maths; I have used montessori and have spent many hours aquiring and making worksheets for them. My energy is now depleted...

We don't have all your wonderful selection of homeschool material here in France - but I intend to get something from the US

I am looking for an elementary and intermediate (are those the correct terms?) (9 years - 12 years and onwards maths course) which may go a bit deeper than the average or require a bit of mind stretching. The idea is to give myself a little break and my dds will have a good time with a load of prepared materials .

I was hoping that one of you dear ladies would be able to suggest something.

Also do your maths books tend to be full of imperial measures (inches, feet, etc) or do you also use metric?

Blessings,

You might try looking at Singapore Math.. it goes along as a pretty quick pace, I get the US Edition and it mixes metric and imperial measure.. but I think if you could find it as not the us edition that you'd get all metric.

Thanks JodieLyn,

I found a website based in the EU so they have the original ones with just metric. But I must say you imperial users are great at adding fractions and things because of your complicated measurements! At school in the UK I was in the first year not to use them...

Blessings
