Could y'all add my SIL to your prayers -- she has to go in to have her left thyroid lobe removed as there is a growth (which they're pretty sure is benign) that needs to be removed. She says "she never felt so well before going in for surgery".
Please pray for peace of mind for she and her husband; also for peace for my MIL who lives right up the street from Stef and tends to over-react to anything like this ...

Bumping this up as Stef goes in today for her operation ... she sounds pretty upbeat and positive but prayers would be appreciated ... especially for my MIL who really worries!

Just wanted to say a big thanks for all those who added my SIL to your prayer lists -- she came thru the operation just fine, the lump looks benign, they kept her o'nite (just in case) and dh talked to her tonight. She's feeling very well and has next week off from school (she's a special needs teacher) so she'll have some time to recuperate. My MIL behaved well at the hospital and FIL seems to have handled it well. Tom, my BIL, is a rock but dh says he was pretty relieved-sounding too.
