Could I ask for an Ave for one of our members, Jenny ("amethyst") who is entering the Church this Saturday (the day before the great Divine Mercy Feast) Jenny has had a deep longing for such a long time now to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist and to finally, “come home” and there have been many hurdles that had to be dealt with along the way but now the day is nearly here, to offer a Hail Mary would add to a lovely spiritual bouquet for her.
Here is Jenny’s beautiful testimony over at her blog, “He Knows My Name”:
Call to Follow part 1
Call to Follow part 2
**Edit: It will be Confession, Communion and Confirmation! (Jenny will be taking St Therese and St Elizabeth of Hungary for her confirmation names.)

wonderful story! I will pray for her! I would so much love to share this story with my mother, but can't....(sigh) she is not ready to leave her Protestant faith. I love conversion stories! They are so uplifting! Please tell her it is a treasure to have recorded her journey and then to share it with everyone!

Dear Anne, thank you for sharing my story! This has been the most inspiring and beautiful day. As I am still shaky with emotion I shall copy what I have written to friends of this morning's Mass, where I was finally received into the Church I love, and received my Blessed Saviour for the first time.
****
This morning was so beautiful...so incredibly beautiful.
Our small Saturday morning Mass group, my family and Father Marian...I felt as though we were in a tiny chapel in heaven, surrounded by my Beloved Holy Family, the angels and saints, My heavenly Father - all waiting to receive me with ribbons of merciful love, wrapping me in their prayers and joy.
My tongue still burns with the taste of my Lord...I cherish it. I think it has been many years since I have shed this many tears...Father gave me ample tissues to carry me through and I do not think I have ever seen Father beam so widely or so often. His own joy was on display and it blessed me so.
When I proclaimed the Profession of Faith I had a vision of the Sacred Heart of Jesus...He smiled at me and extended His right arm around me, embracing me close to His heart, and as I was receiving the Eucharist for the first time I saw Him again and this time it was His hands feeding me His Divine Body....no wonder I still burn with His presence in me.
I took the names Elizabeth Therese - St Elizabeth of Hungary, and St Therese of Lisieux. Both these women exemplify my desires towards perfection in Christ, both have prayed for me and carried me through the past few days, as have your own exquisite prayers. Thank you.
My own Elizabeth (13yodd) has rubbed her rosary into the Chrism oil on my forehead, and cannot stop hugging me and squeezing my arms in delight. My husband Mark and 15yods Sam bought me a beautiful celebration cake, an Angel cake. :- ) And to my surprise the Lord blessed me even more with a phone call as soon as we walked in the door after Mass - my RCIA leaders rang from the USA! They had moved back to the States a year ago today and were so happy to speak to me today of all days. God is so good to us all.
Bless you all for your prayers and friendship...
In great joy!

You have me crying too Jenny! That is just so beautiful, I pray that I will always recieve Jesus with as much love and anticipation as you have today....
I offered my Communion for you this morning and as we were driving home (after doing some shopping) I noticed it was in the hour over where you are and we said the rosary and you won't believe it, but we prayed with our new St Therese rosary CD, one of your patrons!
Thank you for sharing the memories of this day.
